Messrs. Billecart and Salmon should sue the consultants who have redesigned their labels. What can they have been thinking of? As somebody in the trade remarked to me the other day, the bottles now look like downmarket Cava. I can imagine it must have been frustrating to have been producing wine of infinitely better quality than the market leaders for years and not getting recognised for it, but surely this is not the answer.
