- Viburnum Rosso 2004 (Duline) Duline's website describes this as "Bordeaux style" but I would say "Bordeaux blend". High acid, quite piquant, the cabernet fruit fairly leafy. A nice drink at a decade old, but now light towards the finish and I feel it's time to drink up. still.

With ZM, TS, DL and a few more at Anfora 16/08/2015 (TNB)
The food rather good for what describes itself as a wine bar.- Champagne NV (Pol Roger) Aperetif beforehand. At least a decade old, rich, slightly gamy, very delicious. Bare even
- Maximin Herrenberg Spatlese 2013 (Loewen) Grapey nose, rich density. Long. This is exciting wine made under the Schmitt-Wagner name, I think. At least
- Meursault Charmes 1993 (Potinet-Ampeau) Quite rich yet with bite. Honey. Great condition. Really top mature white Burgundy.
- Pommard grands Epenots 2000 (F. Gaunoux) Very sexy, lovely, long piquant cherry fruit. No oak (old or new) involved. Lovely tannins. Top at least
- Molsino 2006 (Nervi) Lovely tar and roses nebbiolo. A touch rounded then Barolo would normally be. Very nice. Top
- Barolo Roquette 1999 (Accomasso) Quite meaty, bovril, splendid concentrated fruit. A very traditional style. Bare and rising.
- 2001 Intestieti (Soldera) It has that fantastic fruit. (Cherry? What else?) Vanilla ice cream. Rather more sandy, succulent tannins than I recall from this producer. Gorgeous.
- St Joseph Rouge 2008 (Chave) Very Chave - slips down without touching the sides. Fine (of course), fragrant, nice fruit, but almost a touch too suave for me. Top
- Erdener Pralat 1997 Auslese (Moenchoff) Limes, lovely rich, intended fruit. Great balance. What a fine vineyard.
- Niepoort Colheita 1987 Slightly burnt edge compared to others from this producer. Quite individual. Fine Colheita. Top
